Wiring Keling steppers to FET 3 board

Hello,
I am a newbie to the forum and will have several questions as I progress with my CNC router project. I have completed the table and gantry but now comes the part that I need some coaching and feedback. The FET kit that I purchased several years ago originally came with fuji steppers IBM # 6838068 (uni-polar), which from what I've read on some post, are not that great. I decided to buy some Keling KL23H286-20-8B motors which can be wired for unipolar or Bi-polar. Since I'm using the fet 3 board, they will have to be wired for uni-polar. Here's my dilema. I'm not an electronics wiz and I'm not sure how to hook the 8 wires up. I'm am guessing that the red wire would get connected with the red/white tracer,blue with blue/white tracer,etc.etc. but I'm not sure about this and thought someone here may be able to help. My next question relates to setting up mach three (I'm not using the fet software) with the keling motors, but I want to cross one bridge at a time with this. Thanks...any help is greatly appreciated
