Hey all, the CNC Zone is pretty awesome, I've been lurking for a few weeks now, found some great info, and awesome projects. Also like to say that Keling blew me away in a couple of ways. first of all, I ordered my cnc kit on a friday night (i think) and the package showed up on monday...totally flattened me, quite a nice surprise. the other thing that blew me away and still does, is the lack of documentation on these items. luckily, everyone here seems to have it all figured out and its been a great help. thanks all! now onto the question, I have a keling C10 breakout board and it seems to be a nice unit. the problem is that any time i connect an estop switch to pin 10, the board disables. this is with a normally closed switch, which is the only way that seems safe to install a safety feature. the only way to get the board to function again is to disconnect the switch or trigger it. there seems to be very little documentation on this and the only thing i've seen on this is a suggestion to change mach3 to active low, which only enables the signal to hit mach3 at the right time. the other thing i dont understand is that i have the switch attached to pin 10, mach 3 recognizes it as pin 12...which is the same pin i have the homes switches attached to.... is there a grounding issue i dont know about? any help would be very appreciated, thanks |

| Keling uses the Cnc4PC C10. According to their wiring diagram, you are wiring it correctly: http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/C10R8_WD1.pdf http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/E_STOP_N_EN_Wiring.pdf Manual: http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/C10-BDBB_Manual_Rev_8.pdf You might want to contact Arturo at CNC4PC: Arturo E.
