Unhappy Keling Steppers Price Increase ???

I've been browsing Ebay, debating whether I should order some larger steppers for my router.

Just noticed some troubling price increases from Keling.
Yesterday, (3) 640 oz. steppers were going for $189.00 (Buy it now)
Today, the price jumped to $209.00.

Yesterday, (3) 425 oz. steppers were going for $149.00 (Buy it now)
Today, the price jumped to $156.00.

Hope this isn't a trend. My next stepper may come from Tormach.

I guess you should have bought them yesterday.

With the USA dollar plummeting against other currencies is is reasonable to expect that imported goods will increase in price.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

    Peter,

With the money I saved by not buying the steppers, I might just take that trip to Australia. Maybe I can afford a couple of beers, too.

    More if you're buying

Most cnc stuff we buy is from china and the US.
It is cheaper to buy them + shipping to Australia than buying it from local suppliers.
All ballscrews, linear rails, motors, drivers etc.
    Pretty much the whole machines.
Maybe we buy a couple of cap screw and alloy.

I'd shout anyone who came to visit for a beer

I might even open a decent bottle of Aussie Red.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
