I bought those recently from keling and i think i have problem getting them to operate properly i have set them the same way as the 4030 but as soon as i turn the transfo on the motor start to slowly crawl the x crawl cw while the y crawl ccw i did check the rest and i get movement from command sent by mach3 but as soon as the command are done the motor resumes its slow crawl also it continue to crawl when the command are sent but i the case of the x axis it only shows when the motor tryes a ccw command as it trye to og cw and ccw at the same time but when it goes cw all is fine as thats the way it want to go Lots of people have told me that my problem was noise wich i doubt now as for two reason noise would from what i undestand create temporary unwanted movement like you table to move 3 inchs with out reason or lost of step here the motor turn continuously cw in the case of the x and ccw in the case of the y and at a regular pace no jitter or nothing and mostly no stopping secondly i have tryed three set of wire so fare one set unshielded and two shielded also i have tryed on two computer and in various place in the house and i got always the same problem Also keling should definitly take the time to upgrade there documentation and at the very least send documentation with the purchase of there material and i have no pun intended here the guy from keling called me in a flash both time i requested is help but as an example of why the documentation need to be worked on here is an exerpt of a document available on keling website about the kl-6050 http://www.kelinginc.net/KL-6050.doc I/O Port Connection: 1: VCC+: Connect 20 to 60V DC power Supply 2: GND 3: A+, A- 4: B+, B- 5: Step+, 5V 6: Step- Connect to Pulse Signal 7: Dir+, 5V 8: Dir -, Connect to Direction Signal 9 REST +, Connect to 5V, REST -: Open The problem here is that there are no pin called rest on the driver but there are two pin called en, but is it for the customer to make a judgement call and say that en and rest are the same at the risk of breaking something? Anyway the point in the end is not to undermine the quality of keling as a company or there product but to comment on one thing that as a customer i am not happy of in return i just hope the some constructive innovation will come out of it wich is as important to keling as it is for the customer I do want to say finaly that the component you will get from keling do seem to be of top quality and that the item are well packaged when sent to you and that there price are more then competitive i would also like to restate the fact that the aftersale support so far as been fast and honest and do sincerely think that they do all in there power to help me solve the current problem as i have seen them do with many user in this forum and that i again intend in the long run to by other part from the for futur project thx Ataxy

| KL6050: Vcc+ to power supply, GND to Ground, You know how to connect A+, A-, B+,B- for motor. Dir+, Step+ to 5Vpower supply, Dir- and Step-, it will work right. I think you need to tune the stepper motors in Mach3, email me support@kelinginc.net check here for MAch3 setup: http://www.kelinginc.net/Mach3Tutorial.pdf |
