Hello. I've got KL5056 drivers and a KL5042 driver. When using the KL5056, the motor rotates one way only. When I switch off the system and I unplug the green conectors from the KL5056 and I plug a KL5042 on its place, (so the wiring are the same), the motor rotates fine in both directions once switched on the system again. I've tested different current and microstep settings with the same results. I've tested bipolar series and bipolar parallel wirings too. There is no way to get the motor rotating two ways when using the KL5056drivers. Can anybody suggest any help?. Thank you. |

| Dont know if this will be of any help since i do not have a system like yours, however, i recently went through similar problems with a HobbyCNC board. If they are even semi decent im sure they will have their own built in protection circuit, which was like mine. My protection circuit had tripped and caused the same problem so see if there is a fail safe and if so try the reset mode, like switch on-off-on-off and leave for a 5min and try that. I recommend though getting in contact with seller obviously and ask them about it as reset mode will no doubt be different and this particular method could cause problems. Like i said im not too sure about this system nor if this will help you what so-ever but if by any chance you have something similar to me it worth a shot. Daniel |
