Hi - I am in the early stages of a DIY router project. The design requires a dual shaft stepper motor with (ideally) the same nominal size shaft for each end. This is a surprisingly narrow option set. I am thinking about the KLH2120-42-8B stepper motor with its impressive torque ratings, and 118mm nominal length. This would be used for 3 of the axis. I would also like to find a similar double wide motor, or at least a wider similar version for the other axis. I don't so much need more torque, as motor width, but of course, more torque is always a good thing. Lastly, I was looking at drivers, including the KL-11078 AC input driver, and the other option of a DC power supply plus a KL-8078, which seems similar to other serious end hobby drivers. I noticed that the KL-11079 is currently out of stock. Do you think this will come into stock within 90 days, or should I plan on the 8078? |
