I just got a Keling package. Seems like it is nice stuff for the price. John was easy to deal with. However, I need some information about this stuff and cannot find it. The documentation is charmingly difficult to read. Here are my questions, I hope someone can help! 1. On the KL-4030 drivers, there is a 'rest' input, i think. I am hoping this is an enable. Anyone know what the deal with it is? 2. On this connection diagram I am not certain I see a connection between ground on the PC side and ground on the Driver side. I do see a common +5. I am guessing this is meant to be driven with low going steps then? 3. The motor hookup chart shows 4 of 8 wires. It has 8 listings. I cannot tell if I am meant to hook the motors up with pairs of 2 wires, select a pair, or what. the 3 main possibilities I can see are: (thanks for any help) A+ Blue\White A- Blue B+ Green\White B- Green or A+ White\Red A- Red B+ Black\White B- Black or A+ Blue\White & White\Red A- Blue & Red B+ Green\White & Black\White B- Green & Black

| Reset signal is same as Enable signal in some other driver. This signal is used for enabling/disabling the driver. High level for enabling the driver and low level for disabling the driver. Usually left unconnected(enabled). www.kelinginc.net |

I just purchased a Harbor Freight X2 mill and was wondering which of your packages you recommend for the conversion? So many different choices I'm not sure which to pick. If its any help I won't be working with any steel. I will be using the machine for prototyping in plastics and some aluminum. Thanks in advance for any help you can render. |
