Help with Power Supply

I received a power supply Model KL 7220 without any docs. All output wires on the transformer are yellow and I'd like to know what they are in case I decide to use the transformer elsewhere. Thanks.

Buy me a Beer?

If you can power up the primary, first identify & separate all windings by resistance check, Then power up and take AC voltage readings of the identidied windings.

Understanding Powersupply Hookup.

I've bought a keling 7212 power supply.

It has red and black wires on the transformer, and the documentation on it tell me how to combine them for 110v. The problem i am having is, The power supply doesn't tell me what to do with the red and black wires once i have twisted the ends together (so to speak) Where do i conenct them to? And for that matter, How is power supposed to get from the wall TO the transformer in the first place? The transformer also has green wires, but the instructions dont say anything about it. And there are blues wires on a terminal strip attacked to a small circuit board (with the capacitors) but, alas, it does tell me anything about any other wire except the red and black, and that if you put them one way, its ready for 110 and the toher is 220. So...... Any input from anyone? I am really confused on this one. I don/t know where to attack a power cable (you know, from the wall) to the power supply. I dont know what the red and black wires are supposed to go to, nor the green wires, nor the blue ones.

This has really been my chokepoint. I can't test anything because i don't have the power up yet.

Hello

Pls check on this specification:
http://www.kelinginc.net/KL7212.pdf
for 110V
1: 2 red wires for netural
2: 2 black wires for hot
3: pls do not touch the blue and green wires, they are connected for you

About the Green and Blue wires.

If you take a close look at the picture, the green wires are only connected on one end. the blue wires go from the coil to the ac input, and the red and black?

Forgive me for asking the mos simple of question.

Do I take my negative, or my positive wire and connect it to the red wires?

are you SURE the green wires don't need to be connected to anything?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi
Both red wires for netural
Both black wires for hot
Do not touch other green and blue wires. It is configured by manufacture

Kl-300-36 36v/6.6a

I purchased a KL-300-36 36V/6.6A power supply and didn'r get any doccumentation. There are 3 Com connections and 3 +V connections on the power supply. I have smoked a driver board because i didn't check for the proper connections (my fault). Is there any doccumentation i can get to show me how to correctly connect the power supply to the driver board?

Jim

Thanks for the fast response. That is how i have it connected but it still fried the driver board. i have the red and black wires connected to the driver board, black to ground and red to +5. that is when the board smoked. I am wondering if the board is marked incorrectly?
