    kelig 8060 drive

I just finished my control.my X&Y motors spin fine but my Z make a small thump in the motor and that's all.Whats the deal?I switched the motors, cables out and checked them on X&Y to rule out bad motor or cable. Its something with that 8060 drive?Any body have any idea what to do next. I know some ones had this problem.

Have you tried swapping motor leads of the z axis to one of the other axes to see if it behaves then? It could be something mechanical or even an issue with the signal coming out of the PC. I get thumping on all 3 axes when I have an issue with power saving features on the laptop I use with Mach (part of the reason you aren't supposed to use a laptop..)
