I'd have the front page stuff be "major groups of items" along with a "hot item" or two. Don't show people everything - it confuses them.

More than one screen isn't seen, so try to not have people need to scroll down except to see the legalese BS...

You really need to get the shipping part fixed, I ordered my motors, your site spat out a postage cost and I paid everything. Last night I get an invoice from you for additional postage because your site got it wrong. Not overly impressed.....
