I have picked a motor package with a total of amps if 22.5. That is I have two motors with a max of 6.1 and two motors with a max of 5. Im assuming that a 20 amp 50v power supply will be enough since its not a good idea to run the motors at their max amp anyway? So If I were to run the larger motors at say 5 amps and the smaller motors as say 4 each, then the 20 amp supply would be good no? Im trying to figure out this whole amp/volt thing. |

| According to Mariss, a good sizing for a power supply is 67% of the aggregate requirement. So in your case this would amount to ~17-18 amps so the power supply will be adequate. The theory being that you will not be running all motors at max simultaneously all the time.

Funny enough, I was considering this alimentation today to equip servos : https://www.antekinc.com/details.php?p=303 it could probably fulfill your needs. And for $20 less you have the 16A model. Look at the PDF, it can be equiped with daughter boards offering (un)regulated 5V/12V/24V. Hope this helps. Zaggy |
