Hello, I am working on putting stepper motors on my mill and would like to get some opinions on picking the drive. My choices are a drive with an integrated power supply like the KL-11080 or a drive that requires an external power supply like KL-9082. The motors I will be using are 1200 in-oz for the Z axis and 900 in-oz motors for the x and y axis so I need drive that can deliver high amps. Do any of you think the integrated power supply offer more benefits than a drive with an external power supply? Thanks, Paul |
