I asked John directly, and really didn't get an answer so I thought I'ld post here and see what I get. http://www.kelinginc.net/KL23H2100-30-4B.pdf eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices They seem to be substantially weaker than another set of 382 oz motors I got from another vendor. I am running them on a Gecko G540 with a 48VDC power supply and current limit set at 3.48. (Got the power supply from John a while back with this in mind.) Any suggestions? All he said was if they don't get over 80C they are fine. Not really an answer to the low torque issue. The only real descrepency I can find is that the phase wire colors do not match his diagram. Should be no big deal. I found the coils with a meter and hooked all the motors up the same. |

| Ok, thanks. He advertises them as good for the G540 which tops at 50V. I think I'll just go back to spending a couple dollars more to buy motors from my other vendor. They have great torque at 48VDC. Anybody want to buy these? |

Add on the OPs comment that they need to be run at 80VDC to get proper performance out of them and I really am done messing with them. At the risk of sounding cliche, "This ain't my first rodeo." I'm going to go with the motors from the other vendor that I have on my other machine. I don't have time to play around "hoping" to eventually get it right. I am sure your motors are great, but I want to get motors right for my application the first time, and deal with a vendor who gives me specs that work right the first time. Best of luck to you. P.S. I was seriously looking at your small router machine as my next machine, but I am not very happy with the way this worked out. You have picked up a lot of new stuff in your product lines in the last year or so that looks interesting, but... Last edited by Bob La Londe; 09-14-2011 at 07:14 PM. |

Anyway, they are now listed for sale on Ebay, and there is an Ad here in the classifieds. Starting price was 1¢. |

| I also appreciate the heads up about the data sheet not showing the correct wiring diagram. I'm sorry you had to take a loss on the motors but I will put them to good use. I have 3 Gecko Vampire drivers that can handle the 80 Volts. Thanks again.
