I'm having some trouble wring between my C35 BOB and the 5056D drivers. I bought some RJ45 adapters that I thought would make wiring easy, but I found out that they do not fit the new digital drivers so I have to cut the wires and screw them to the terminal posts of the driver. Problem is I don't know which wires mean what. It's far from a wire A to Terminal A type of sytem or it is and I'm just too confused to see it that way. I talked to Aurturo at CNC4pc about the C35 board, but I don't think he's able to dumb it down enough for me. Below is what he sent me You can wire it this way: BOB Driver Step+ Pul+ COM Pul- Dir+ Dir+ COM Dir- Move the jumper to have COM=GND. I don't know what corresponds to step+ & Dir + on the BOB chart on page 11 here http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/C35R1_1_User_Manual.pdf If someone could dumb this down for me I'd greatly appreciate it. | What do you mean RJ45 adapters? It should be a network cable with no crossovers just straight thru connections. I hope it is that way because I am about to be running the C35/5056D combo but then again I make my own network cables so I can make what ever is required but I will need to verify it. In fact it is an RS232 interface I think. Tech Info - RS232 Cables and Wiring Look at the bottom of the page for the correct pinout of the RJ45 connector. |

I am sure this was of no help to the original poster, however the Telco 6 pin female receptacle within the latest digital drivers is not an RJ45 nor will it work. The Telco port is for tuning the driver with (Leadshine) Pro Tuning software. Here is a link to the board, page 11 explains the pinout of each RJ45 port. http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/C35R1_1_User_Manual.pdf Last edited by Fastest1; 08-11-2011 at 02:00 PM.

Got caught in this as well as I ordered everything I needed from Keling (or so I thought) I tried finding out from Cnc4pc if the adapters could at least work if I bent the pins but I wasn't able to get an answer and wasn't going to risk it. Ended up just ordering the correct adapters from Cnc4pc. Now I have to wait another couple weeks for them to show up... CNC4PC

I talked to CNC4PC and the pins can just be bent to fit the adapter. I haven't had a chance to test them since I'm not that far along in my project, but they bent and fit with little effort so I see no reason they shouldn't work. ![]()

Thanks for the photo. I did end up ordering the C34KLD's though I did try to cut up a network cable. I am still going to tinker with that wiring. The signal is a 5vdc and I have tested my driver with a wall wart. I am having an issue between the C35 and the 5056D most likely the network cable configuration. I can see from your photo of the board the common ground. Thanks again
