Clarification on wiring KL7220 in 230V.

    I am wiring a KL7220, KL6520, & a KL3815. I am wiring them 230V. The schematic from Keling website states:
    "AC power connections:
    115Vac – 2 red wires to neutral & 2 black wires to
hot. 220Vac – 1st red wire to neutral, 1st black wire to
2nd red wire, and the 2nd black wire to hot."

In 230V ac, there are two 115V legs and a ground (no neutral wire). I assume that "1st red wire to neutral" means 1st red wire to 1 leg of 115V. and the "2nd black wire to hot" means to the second leg of 115V. There is no connection to AC power ground from the KL7220. Please confirm or correct this assumption.

Also, should the chassis of the KL7220 be connected to the AC power ground?

    Thanks for any help.

Did you ever get an answer to this?

I am also trying to make sure I wire the same power supplies correctly.

If using 240vac the primaries are in series use 240v 1ph only, forget about neutral, You also should take an earth ground to the frame of the power supply, I have found R.O.C. equipment very lacking as to providing ground and safety.
You also have the option of parallel primary for 120v 1 ph.

    Al! You are everywhere!

Here is what I am having trouble with. See Picture.

These are the instructions for the wiring:

"1st red for neutral, 1st black to 2nd red,
and the 2nd black to hot wire."

So in my picture I am seeing this as:

    Number 1 (Black): L1 (230VAC)
Number 2 (Red): Connect together with wire #3
Number 3 (Black): Connect together with wire #2
Number 4 (Red): Neutral (or in my case L2 (230VAC)

And I have the panel that they are mounted to grounded to a ground bar that my main system is grounded to, coming from my disconnect for the power.

    Seem right?

That sounds correct, fortunately if you get it backwards with series winding, you just end up with no output.
If you make a mistake with the 120v parallel connection you blow a fuse!.
