Hello all. A few questions from a simpleton. First things first: I bought an X3 mill from an acquaintance some time ago, and he had purchased a CNC conversion kit from Keling (I guess). It included a C10, 3 KL-6050s, and a KL-320-36, along with 2 23's and a 34 for steppers. Questions as follows:
1. Does this seem like a reasonable set up? In particular, is this PS sufficient?
2. Is the wiring scheme here the one I should use? (

3. The two 23's have 8 wires: red, green, black, blue, blue/white, green/white, brown/white, orange/white. The 34 has red, green, black, blue, yellow, brown, orange. However, in that schematic the only colors given are blue, red, green, and black; are these really the only wires that need to be hooked up? If not, can you point me to a different diagram?
4. I bought a socket for a plug like the one on the back of a computer PS (C14 I guess?) to connect the mains to the PS without hard wiring it; what kind of wire should be used to connect this socket to the PS (solid, stranded, gauge)?
5. What about grounding the system? The schematic shows nothing (other than the PS is connected to the mains ground, I suppose), is this correct?
I'm sure I have more questions, I just don't know what they are yet. If you have any general pointers, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
