Is a soft start circuit necessary with a KL-6520?

I am working on the driver for my 4 axis Mill project, and have a KL-6520 1300W PSU.

We have 240VAC here in Austria, and that is a pretty big toroidal transformer, so I was wondering whether a soft start circuit would be prudent, to control the inrush current.

    My questions:
1/ Do I need a soft start circuit?

2/ If so, could you please send me a link to an appropriate circuit.

    Thanks.
    Regards,

Mark can not say you need one,but a simple thermistor will help.

In large audio amplifyers soft start is necessary but are costly.https://www.hypexshop.com/ click on power supplies for the softstart module
Seems to be more of a problem with SMPS as there is no large caps to absorb the high current. If soft start was necessary I would assume all power supplies would have them.

    Thanks for the reply.

I found this simple relay based in inrush protection circuit on another thread.

Still don't know if I need it, but I guess I'll do this cause I couldn't find a local source of those Thermistors.
