AutoCAD .dxf polylines breaking up in SuperCamXP

i have an issue with my poly lines from AutoCAD not coming over into SuperCamXP as a poly line, instead they show up as lines and arc segments, which causes my plasma table to re-pierce a hole and the beginning and end of each line and arc. anybody know how to fix this and make it a continuous line?

Use the Pedit command in AutoCad to Join the lines together into a polyline. Keyboard command is 'pedit', select the line and then Join, then all lines you want joined to it.

You know when you got it because when you select any part of the line all of it will be selected.

Also the lines to be joined have to touch at the endpoints.

Hope that helps...

If the endpoints don't align perfectly and you set the fuzz at 0.0, they won't join.

Use the go advanced button and manage attachments to upload.

I think that is the "Go Advanced" button here on cnczone, to post dxf files, images, etc... in your forum post, just below the comment editor bottom of this page.

In SuperCamXp there is a button in Files|DXF|Settings dialog form identified as Arc's. The button should be in the OFF position.

If it is in the ON position the lines and arcs are separated.

If it is in the OFF position the lines and arcs of polylines remain joined on DXF imports.

That could be why they are being separated into different graphic items.
