Change starting revision of sheet?

I'm using Inventor 2010.

Is there a way to change the default revision that a sheet has?

It starts at <blank> but I'd like it to be "-". I've tried changing the revision of the sheet in the template, but that doesn't carry over.

I can edit the sheet properties on each new drawing, but I'd prefer it to start at what I want - my boss doesn't like clicking on the sheet, editing and typing in a "-".

I was able to change the Revision Number with a "-" in the templates directory of the standard.idw and have it be there when opening a new standard.idw.

So it is possible, maybe your template file is set to read only?

Nope - I can make other changes to the template. I'm using .dwg, not sure if that makes a difference.

Are you changing the revision of the whole thing, or just the sheet? I'm changing just the sheet - we have many multi sheet drawings, and we revise individual sheets.

I did it with just one sheet initially, when placing a new sheet in the drawing it displays the "-" in the Title Block as Rev.

I'm doing this with .idw file type and from new files not existing.
