I am having some problems with AutoDesk Mechanical Desktop 2009 SP2. When I attempt to open and IGES file into an existing drawing something happens and all of the dialogue windows become command line. For example when you select “File Open” you get a dialogue window with a Windows style file browser. After I try to import and IGES file when I click “File Open” I just have a prompt next to my cursor in which I have to type a file path. Since I am on a network It is sometimes very difficult to remember a huge file path to type it in manually. Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere that will correct this problem? I have looked through the help section on MDT with little success. Any suggestions? Thanks. Bill |
