Need Help!- SLDPRT to .dwg conversion!

Does anyone have any knowledge on how to convert a SLDPRT file to a .dwg file?

If anyone can do it, it would be great if you did it for me, or explained how to do it to me.

All i have is solidworks, and it doesnt have .dwg as a save option.

Use SW to create 2-d drawings, then "save as" to save into dwg format.

Sorry, that's to save a drawing in autocad format.

The only save option I see in solidworks is ACIS format, but when I tried to open a part in autocad, it gave me some type of error.

Why downgrade your model to autocad anyways?

Try an older version of ACIS out, and in AutoCAD, use Insert > SAT.

Well whaddya know... I never knew acad could import acis files!

save the solid to SAT format, set "Output As" to "Solid/Surface Geometry", and i used the oldest version available (just to be sure)

"acisin" from the command line in acad, and there it is!
