Hi guys, it's been a while since I've used AutoCAD and at the moment I'm using 2008. If I remember it is possible to specify a drawing point from a temporary origin without using the UCS command. IE. I want to draw a circle a distance away from a feature on the drawing but have no reference but can use an existing line to locate off. I hope that makes sense! What is the correct way to do this? |

| Choose the circle command, then Shift-Right Click, and choose "From". Click the reference location, then enter the relative coordinates, like @10,5, to draw it 10 over and 5 up from your reference point.
