| Ok - So I've been working in inventor for some time now modeling a DIY type CNC machine. I'm approaching completion, and would like to be able to export all of my pieces of structure that are made from the same material and thickness to a "layout" that optimizes the material used and minimizes waste (based on stock material sizes)....make sense? I will be cutting MDF with a tablesaw/bandsaw/jig saw for my first "roughing" of the pieces before the machine "rebuilds itself" using its cutting abilities (kinda cool to think about...) ANYway - I hope my question is clear enough, theres gotta be a way this works easily with all of the plasma cutting/waterjetting/laser guys out there... Thanks in advance - John |
