Need Help! solidworks to acad - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

need to import a zipped .step file in ACAD 06.
have tryed the unzip and rename to .sat but get

Unable to read the ACIS file C:\Documents and Settings\DougC\My
Documents\UR46-82S.sat.
Command:

any and all would good

In SW create a fully completed/dimensioned shop drawing of your "whatever".
Then go "save as" and select file type dwg

If you're trying to import a solid model, it'll have to be saved in .sat from solidworks.
