Hello Inventor Users: I'm trying to create a custom embossed feature in a Inventor sheet metal part, as it is used in about 30 places on a part I'm designing. I'm using the sheet metal tools to create a vacuum formed plastic part, as it is easier to design it this way because it folds in multiple locations. The feature that I am trying to create is shown in the attached picture. I have been successful in creating a custom punch that goes all the way through the part, but I can't figure out how to create a custom emboss that stretches the material. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks- Keith |

| ...I've done these parts before, but using "shell" when drawn with standard.ipt. Just draw the over all blob with all the bumps and select the shell command to remove to the correct thickness. I tried the sheet metal route previously when poor results. |
