i am very new to autocad and have a question. Im supposed to be doing my dxf drawings in the layout mode correct? for classic 2d that is....lets say im trying to cut something thta is 2x2feet. Well how would i start my autocad when the dimensions of the layout mode are about 10 by 8 inches. |

| No, always use model space. Layouts are basically drawing pages for printing, and are set to the paper size.
