Autocad 2000(changing point size)

I recently installed autocad 2000 on windows vista and I can't access the help files. Does anyone know how to change the size of points.(I want to make them bigger).

Yes, ddptype do the job
or
under the format menu you'll find point style

and there you can set the points size relative to screen or absolute

I guess points bigger to be able to select a point and for that you have to check the NODE Snap to object mode.

hope this help

I think you should be able to save templates. I know I can do that in TurboCad. Then just open that template for all new drawings.

Lee is correct, you need to set up a template and start each drawing with that template. Start with a blank drawing, and change all the settings to how you want them (as well as layers, dimension styles, fonts......) and save as a template.
