How too, AutoCad drawing to BMP/JPEG

Its been years since I did it, Can any member describe the complete process for me?,
My memory has got me this far,......Type viewres, then yes, then 20000, then export, then BMP, then save, then select object, and then right click, thats as much as I remember?,

I want to print a drawing off, I have AutoCad 2000, and cad only has plotting, no printing, at least I cant find it,

    ..........any help would be appreciated,............Edmund............

Ed, plotting and printing are the same thing. Just go to plot, and make sure your printer is selected, and you can print. There are a few options for what to print. Extents prints everything in the drawing. Display prints whatever is on the screen at the time. Or you can choose window to drag a window around what you want to print. You may need to adjust the scale to make it fit.

Also if you go to print, in the Print/Plot screen , look in the Config to see if the default printer is one of the choices, you can make this the default device to print with.
Before you print select Scale To Fit if needed and look at the Full Preview before printing.
Also your pen widths (even though its a printer) can be adjusted in this screen and also Device Requirements etc.

Thank you Gerry, and also Al_the_man, I have tried both your suggestions (I think?), but get no printer activity, I'm a bit computer illiterate,

To save as a BMP- type "Select All" then click File then Export.

On your printer, can you print anything else on it? or is it just ACad that'snot printing? Is the device showing up on the "Plot" menu?

    Hi Dear !
Type in command line as bmp out.
    A popup window appear.
Then select the path to convert file.
After select the object by check box.
Thats it, you will have the .bmp files.
    Regads,
