    Text/block question

Ok, for the life of me I can't remember how to create/edit a bunch of text at once. Say for example you want to edit all the changing info in the title block, Like part name, drawing number, drawn by and date. How do you create this as an all at once editable form? I want to be able to just click on one of the texts to change and have the entire list pop up for editing. I did it back with R12 and I can't remember how to do it now. I am currently using Autocad 2000.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Use attributes and put them in a block.
