Yes because the text is not a line or arc or spline/poly line.
Can anybody tell me why autocad .dxf drawing that has single line text like isocp in it shows up in a preview in mach 2 but when converted into gcode does not show up in the program.
Yes because the text is not a line or arc or spline/poly line.
I thought that in mach 2 that a single text format is what is wanted for gcode tranlation
I dont get this ttf and .txt font stuff, i figured that if plotted text in the location that i wanted in autocad would translate in mach 2
Most .dxf converters can't read text objects. The only way to do it is to explode the text in AutoCAD first. However, you'll need a newer version that has the Express tools with the text explode tool.
