hi there i have autocad 2005. how do i dimesion the circumference of a circle or the true length of an arc? i can get it if i use properties, but how do you dimension it on the drawing? thanks bear |

| The Area Command ,Object option will give it to you also. Then copy and paste text from the command line. No association but it gets it in the drawing.

| http://www.turvill.com/t2/free_stuff/tlen.lsp ger21 sent me this cool link & I am forever greatfull! It is a lisp file that calculates total length of objects. Just save the file, type in appload, load the lisp & type in tlen. Select object(s) & thats it. This might not be exactly what you are looking for but its still pretty cool.
