I know this is a common problem for inventor users but with my new computer i have not been able to find a solution. I am currently running Inventor 8 on a month old Dell laptop with XP and i cannot fix the bug caused by update KB918118 which causes invisible text in the drawings. On my old Dell i was able to remove the update with no problems, however on this computer i cannot remove it with the Add-Remove Programs menu. I tried to delete the file from the folder, however this has not helped. Autodesk only has the solution for versions 9-11 and i cannot afford to upgrade. Has anyone else found the solution to this?  |
