    First Project Newbie Needs Help

Hey Guys I am trying to design a tomahawk axe in 3D in AutoCAD 2007. However I am quite new to 3D and need help to learn how to do this. The style I would like to design is the classic style with the axe in the front and a hammer in the back. I have included a picture of the style of axe I would like to design and then machine using a cnc mill later. Any help about how I would go about designing this would be great.

draw it out in 2 first, with top, front and side views...

then use the front view and extrude it...
that will start you your basic shape... much easier to do in MDT though...
