Is there a way to create a solid model of something in Acad 2000 with different regions/profiles at opposite faces of a box? The regions would have different sizes and profiles and possibly not be symmetric on the two faces of the box. For example, I've tried looking at this like a hot wire foam cutting solution: Imprinting 2 different airfoils on opposite faces of solid box and then trying Boolean operations to leave just the solid wing, much like a core left after foam cutting. Am I doing something wrong or is there a simpler way to accomplish this task? I'd even settle for the hard way to do it if someone could describe the process. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. | I don't think there's an easy way to do it in 2000. In 2007 you can loft it, but not earlier versions. I'd use meshes, and download a mesh to solid lisp to convert it to a solid. You may have to do it in 2 halves and union them after. Also, it will have a faceted surface like a mesh, but if you use high res meshes it mike be acceptable for what you're doing.
