I'm having trouble with the results of extruding a polyline. When a polyline is extruded you get a vertical line at every point on the polyline ( left hand shape) I don't want these small vertical lines at each point. I tryed drawing the shape useing splines which avoids the points but cannot be extruded.( right hand shape) In short any ideas how to avoid the short vertical lines at every pt. along a polyline when it's extruded? Thanks all. |

| Those vertical lines are only in the display, not the model itself. Go to Tools>Options, on the Display tab, check Show Silhouettes in Wireframe. When you HIDE, they should disappear. Also, you CAN extrude splines, you just have to make them a region first. Type REGION, select all the objects that make up your extrusion profile, and hit enter. Your profile will now be a region which can be extruded.. Gerry
