Well, I have decided to go AutoCAD, the academic version. I know it puts in the "Academic" watermark in the pictures, etc., but I was wondering. <noob_question>Does it put in "Academic" into the physical part? As in engrave "academic" into the part that is being made?</noob_question> Thanks...I just want to be sure before I go ahead and buy a $175 piece of software that I can't use because of some stupid thing like that. | I'd look at something like DesignCAD for $90 before spending $175 on LT. The main reason to buy LT is if you need compatability with Full AutoCAD and don't want to spend 4K. All the good features from full AutoCAD are'nt in LT, like VBA, Lisp, and 3D. DesignCAD should do everything LT can do and a lot more.
