In inventor 2012 I have a ahape that needs to be created using a spline. However when I import the 3d model into mastercam it sees the spline as lines instead of arcs. Is there any simple way to convert the spline into an arc in inventor before i export the model? |

How are you doing the import into mastercam? Are you just opening the inventor file or are you saving to a step/ iges first? |

| You could try exporting the part file to a step and trying to import it that way. I know for me I have had a number of issues with splines importing and have since learned how to draw them in mastercam. Or if the model is one that will be 2.5d machined then you could save it as a dxf and import that. |
