I am not to familiar with the sheet metal functions yet. So i would like some input on the proper way of doing it. The file is a part that was drawn in an assembly. It is basically a flat base with 2 90deg. flanges. It was drawn extruding the base then extruding flanges. I have tried converting it to sheet metal and unfolding it, but inventor wont let me. So i must be doing something wrong. I am thinking that maybe i draw the base for the part in assembly, convert to sheet metal and then flange it in assembly drawing. I would upload the file but cant upload a .ipt extension. Kind of weird since this is a autodesk forum. thanks bear |
