Creating a line on an Inventor Drawing

I have an Inventor drawing and would essential like to add a "fill to here" line. The sides are sloped and the fill line should be 1/2" below the top. I would like to reference the diameter at that point as well. This is for a casting process.

What is the best way to do it? I tried sketch but wasn't sure how to set it exactly 1/2" from the top line.

Sorry for the delay. I'm not always around as much as I'd like to be here.

Try this:
1) Create your base view in the drawing.
2) SELECT the base view... then create sketch.
3) Project the geometry from the sketch, then add your line.
4) Adjust properties of the sketch line as required by selecting it, and RMB 'Properties'.
5) Exit out of the sketch, and dimension/label the line as needed.

If you don't select the base view first, you'll create an unassociated sketch. This won't pick up the scale factor of the sketch, or to project geometry from it.
