| Hey all, I did a search and couldn't find anything so I'm just going to ask you guys. Are you able to design geometric patterns (besides circles and squares) in AutoCAD. Such as the shape of a Rotor in a Wankel engine, or type in a formula that is a shape? Thanks, Alex |

| I often draw a single gear tooth then reproduce as many as I need in a complete gear, say 20 teeth. To do this, I use a polar array @ 18 degrees. For a Wankel with three lobes, you could reproduce one lobe three times with a polar array @ 120 degrees. Dick Z
