What CAD program are you using?

In AutoCAD, it's Extrude.

You can use many tools to convert sketch to solid model.
Try the following commands.
Extrude (ext)
Loft
Revolve (rev)
Sweep

They say the correct answer.Its "Extrude".
There is also a simulation process which auto company used for Sheet metal forming.
Its not only auto cad but its a Autoform.
