    g-code from within autocad ...

    Hi,

What are the software options available for generating G-code from within AutoCAD? My google search only returned exactcam ( fierycut ) product.
I didnt find any discussion on exactcam or fierycut sw in any of the forums here. Have anyone used it? Any reviews? The demo version looks very neat.

Are there any other similar products out there, that can support toolpath, g-codes, nesting etc. from within the autocad environment?
Considering the powerful LISP&VB.NET framework available within autocad, I was expecting to find more powerful&affordable autocad tools for this task.

    Exploding Spline and Ellipse

    Hi,
In Autocad, polylines can be exploded by using "Explode" command. Like that is there any Command available to explode splines and ellipse.

Actually my requirement is to convert the drawn splines or ellipse into polylines.

I found one command called "Pellipse" where in you can specify its value as 0 or 1. If you specify its value as 1 and then draw the ellipse, it gives a series of poly arcs and then you can use the Explode command to explode it.

But I want a command which can explode the already drawn ellipse (or Splines).

I am expecting a quick reply from you as it would be a great help for me to continue with my work.

We use the FieryCut nesting software.
The software creates G-code for laser, plasma, waterjet, wire.

The software is simple and very convenient in use, the interface convenient and clear.

The Lisp & VB tools be able to create easy software but don't be used for creating very difficult the nesting software.

The Fierycut software is written on C ++ and integrated with AutoCAD
