Thanks Gerry, I think my problem may have fixed its self though. I shut the computer completely down for about an hour and when I came back it seemed to be back to normal. Thanks- Robbie

Can you do Autocad text in an arc? Or what software would you use to do this? Coreldraw?

Older versions can with Express Tools, newer versions can natively. CorelDraw would work too.

Natively as in it's part of the program. Actually, I was a little incorrect. There is an Arc-Aligned Text command in the Express Tools. Express Tolls are included with newer versions of AutoCAD. With older versions, they had to be purchased seperately.

I use Letterease. Makes lines and true arcs from text. Explodes autoCAD text into useable geometry. Use it most everyday for my lasercutting business. Not expensive.

I have a quick question about AutoCad and didn't want to start a whole new thread to ask it. What exactly is the difference between AutoCad and Architectural Desktop. Is it just the tools and sympols are geared more toward designing houses and buildings or is there something more. Thanks - Robbie
