Just use the normal "2D Contour"
When setting up your machining, (in the final window -- the 5th button across the top), check the "Ramp" box 2/3 of the way down, and set the angle you want to spiral down the outside of your part.

This might be a bit of a random question guys but here goes.
Does anyone know of a way to helically step down a cutting process. Currently my router follows the shape, steps down the desired distance and then follows the shape again. I'm wondering if I can make it more continuous so it gradually ramps down the desired step down around the entire length of the shape it's cutting.
It's just an aesthetics thing. Nothing practical. I like the lines left on the edges of my parts and I just thought it might look even better.
I use Fusion 360
