try HSM first it's free and almost the same https://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/hsm-free-inventor
I am a Rhinocam user. (not necessarily a Rhino User). I am thinking of switching from Inventor to Fusion 360.
My currently workflow includes exporting 3D solids from Inventor into Rhino for CNC programming and it find it a bit un-efficient if I need to make a change to the part on the fly.
I am working on 2D parts only, I am okay in Rhino, since the profiles are made in Rhino etc.
Just looking for some thoughts.
Thanks
