Default Any way to get simulation to actually simulate your machine's acceleration?

I know what my machine's accel values are, and if Fusion 360 did, it might actually be able to give me some accurate simulation times. With a lot of tight corners, I end up with 2x or more actual machining time than their best case scenario estimates. It's hard to compare which toolpaths are best if I don't know the actual times for them.

You can write a postprocessor to incorporate these times. Take the setup-sheet as a basis. It will take you some time though...

the post processor is involved in the simulation in Fusion360?

No, but you can influence the cycle time calculation on the setup sheet
