RFQ(Melbourne) - Shot run CNC routing

    Hi Guys

I'm looking for someone in the Melbourne area who can cut a short run of products for me.

I've developed this product on my hobby machine but I've reached a point where I want to do a longer production run and don't have the time to dedicate to babysitting it.

The product is made out of 6mm mdf and combined part size is 1200x300 (that is, to make one full product, I cut the pieces out of a 1200x300 piece of mdf).

Ideally I would like to cut 8 of the same item out of a 1200x2400 6mm panel. I anticipate doing about 5 panels at this point.

I have dxf's and gcode of the product, and I can regenerate the gcode to suit other cnc machines.

Hopefully this will be the start of several runs of this and other products. Most will be mdf but I hope to produce several things in 3mm acrylic.

Please PM me for further details.

    John

I'm sure you have already found someone by now, but if you haven't Power to Make are a small micro-manufacturing workshop located in Reservoir and are able to provide this service at good price. As you are providing the G-code you would only need to pay for the actual machine time.
