Hi all, I have just purchased a HAFCO VM-1 mill and intend to convert to CNC. The X & Y axis have about .3mm backlash and I am looking for advice on where to start. Should I pull the whole thing to peices and attempt to replace the screws and nut or is there a way/method of just taking the backlash out of the nuts. Maybe this is enough for me to ask to start with. Thanks Steve |
