Perth CNC laser?

Are there any Perth people here who've made their own CNC machine. I'm looking at laser cutting. If anyone has done this or would like to get something started let me know.

Hey I am looking to get some templates cut out on a CNC machine, any of you guys with machines interested in helping me out?

I am also in Perth...

Just wanna get a sample or three made of this idea I have. But I need some way to bend it as well. Any ideas?

Sorry for the confusion. We meet the 3rd Sunday of the month. Ocassionally have the meetings at a members house.

Where are you located, I'm north of the river. If your near by I'm interested in discussing/meeting at other times.

Currently, i'm planning on the conversion of a RF45 and AL-320G machine.

Guys,

How many usually turn up to this venue?

I'm associate member of a local Non-Profit (Perth, WA) hackspace (http://hacklabperth.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) called Perth Artifactory. - its an ultra Geeky fabrication centre of excellence for local guys who need space and help with their projects. We're are just about to rent a place and need advice as we need a CNC cutters/drill. BTW we have a low-cost 3D printers call RepRap - if you interested in taking a look.

Would you guys be able to offer a helping hand with some questions around CNCs? Also, I extend an invite to any of you's who need a space to collaborate and join our team (currently we have about 20 members, and projects vary).
