| Hi Al, You wont be able to find cheap stepper motors locally unless you're looking at small ones. Check out eBay, there is a locally supplier who often sells there. Not really cheap though. Here is an Oz forum that may help with finding suppliers used by local hobbyists.

| Hi Al, I just recently bought the Hobby CNC 4 Axis kit. Price wise as a complete unit it was competitive to anything I thought I could find. The clincher for me was it is all designed to work together, and there is a lot of support out there from other users and the vendor. I really couldn't go wrong I felt. The kit, arrived with motors in about 6 days from the US to country NSW. I have a build thread here on my machine. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72632 I have not finished the board and successfully test run it yet, but that should occur in the next 2 days or so. Hope this helps. Jason |
